Meet the Authors
Angela Shetler is a writer and editor whose experience includes technical writing, publication management, web design, and social media. Angela holds a BA in Professional Writing from Michigan State University, and she is currently pursuing an MA in Digital Communication and Culture from University of Sydney.
Angela is a member of the Professional Writing Community and Industry Advisory Board and has been a guest speaker for writing classes at both MSU and and Lansing Community College. A self-professed nerd, she enjoys discussing visual rhetoric, typography, and grammar with anyone who will listen. Angela can be found online at www.angelashetler.com.
Lindsey LaTour is the Communications Manager for Culinary Services at Michigan State University. Formerly the Editor/Graphic Designer at the MSU Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, Lindsey earned a Master of Arts in Digital Rhetoric and Professional Writing in 2006 and a BA in English in 2003, both from MSU.
Following her four-year stint at the creative non-fiction journal Fourth Genre, she now enjoys visiting MSU Professional Writing classrooms to talk with students about editing and publishing, job searching, interviewing, and professional portfolios.
